Common tasks

Create a note in the app

Capture a note by voice

Search and filter

  1. Type in Search notes... to match note content.
  2. On active Notes, open the label filter, optionally Search labels…, and check labels (OR — a note needs at least one selected label).
  3. Clear all in the label popover removes label filters.

Pin and reorder

  1. Stay on scope Notes with no search and no label filters.
  2. Open a note and use the pin control, or drag cards between Pinned and Others.
  3. Drag within a section to set Custom order (sort switches to that mode when you reorder).

Set a reminder

  1. Open the note.
  2. Under Reminder, pick a date and time.
  3. Save. Notes due today appear on Overview under Due today.

Archive, trash, restore

  1. From a card or the editor, use Archive, Delete / Move to trash, Unarchive, or Restore as appropriate.
  2. In Trash, use Empty trash to permanently delete all trashed notes, or Delete on one note for a single permanent delete.
