Voice command reference
Speak these phrases while dictating to insert punctuation or edit text. They run only when no post-STT AI rewrite ran for that dictation — when Improve with AI or Read surroundings triggers a successful AI call, the model handles phrasing and these spoken commands are skipped. Toggle the feature in Dictation → While dictating → Voice commands (on by default). See Hotkeys and voice and AI polish.

Commands reshape text you are typing. new line inserts a line break in the transcript. press enter (a voice action suffix, off by default) types the rest then sends Return to the focused app. Prefixes like new note skip typing entirely.
